A Mother – In Training

A couple of months ago, I completed year three of what is now going to be at least 21 years of full-time on the job training. In 18 more years, I should be sending my youngest off to university (or other post-secondary education) and settling into a less hectic life-long continuing education program. Due to the high costs of childcare (nearly $1000/month for preschoolers and about $600/month for school aged children), I’ve decided to stay at home to take care of the kids at least until the youngest one has started school. This gives me plenty of time to learn about my boys and myself. So here I am, a mother-in-training, willing to share what I learn with you.
